Hey Hey I'm back... Holidays had ended. Project, quiz, presentation, exam time had arrived.... Let me sum up my holidays...
18-12-2006: Class BBQ@ East Coast Park!!! Had lotsa fun although it rain heavily through out the whole night. We actually abandon our BBQ pit and run to a shelter and set up 2 "BBQ pit" ourselves. Will post up the pics when I get from Mr Harmon.
19-12-2006 to 21-12-2006: Flood... The traffic junction outside my place was flooded. Was on the way for lunch with my in laws when we were about to reached the traffic junction we were shocked to see the flood. One truck stuck in the middle, I think the driver tot he can go thru the flood but sadly, he got stuck. During late afternoon, my maid hear the radio deejay report that the flood outside our place had reached waist level. Called hubby to inform him that he can't come back by the usual way, he will need to go 1 big round to get in mandai road. Left Singapore around 10pm to Genting.. Was there till 21-12-2006 morning then we left for KL, not exactly KL dunno what the name of that area but near KL. Was there to shop and play with my baby.
22-12-2006: Went to Sunway Lagoon. Have lotsa fun there especially my baby. Initially he was scared of the pool but eventually he got in and play and refuse to go back to hotel.
23-12-2006: Shopping Day!!!
24-12-2006: Scared to death day!!! Wake up in the morning and went for breakfast in a nearby shopping centre. Bro-in-laws said they want to do last minute shopping so we take the escalator up. I was walking in front while my baby holds my bro-in-law hand when we were taking the escalator. When we were about to reach, my baby scream.... His crocs got stuck in the escalator and he hurt his feet. A bit of his flesh from his heel and the base of the feet had been ripped off. Very heart-breaking... Panick but still try to remain calm and need to deal with the situation. Went to buy antiseptic cream and bandage. Lucky my parents in law were there to help. I cried while putting the antiseptic cream for him.. too heart breaking.. The thoughts of it make me shivers. Never ever will I let my baby wear crocs. I read in the newspaper before that crocs are prompt to cause accident on the escalator. Remember the gal whose big toe that have been rip off in marsiling? Yes she was wearing crocs. In US, some shopping centre also ban shopper to take escalator if they are wearing crocs. I know I could just stop him from wearing it but he want to wear it to the extend that he will not wear other shoes. I have been extremely careful when I read the news about it, making sure he was safe when taking escalator but for just this once that I never put my eyes on him and this happen... totally regret it... Journey back to Singapore, he keep telling me "pain pain". On the way he fell asleep but he jerk a lot of time during his beauty sleep maybe because of the shock.
Reached home in the evening, hubby said he had bought a present for me and asked me to find as had hid in the room. Ha! Copy cat. I hide his present before going to Genting, before I left the house, I told him to find if not is mine. He was unable to get leave so he never go. He found it within 10 mins. Anyway he bought me a T-10... haha.. in white... Love it!!!
25-12-2006: Went back to my parents place to open x'mas present...
31-12-2006: Hubby birthday... had dinner at Liquid Kitchen, a pub/lounge with our baby. Kiern is too cute that he got free drink... Count down at home with my in laws. Order pizza at exactly 01-01-2007@ 00:00. Its been a few years since we have such a peaceful laid back way of receiving a new year. It's been clubbing for the past dunno how many years.. let those club "money-sucker" boss earn a big bomb from us. Clubbing on that day is like double the spending cos the pricing will go uuuuuuuuuuppppppp... Had spend a lot for x'mas and during my trip to Malaysia. I spend near to RM1000 in Malaysia and for x'mas near to 800 bucks (cos hubby present very ex..) Cannot spend more, need to save money for Chinese New Year.
Hubby and I wrote our new year resolution on a paper.
My resolution:
1.Save money
2.Take up cooking lesson
3.Take up yoga/pilates
4.Pass driving
5.Earn lotsa money
6.To remember my resolutions!!!
Hubby resolution:
1.To have own achievement
2.To build dream computer
3.To have a happy and comfortable life
We also help our baby write his resolution(not exactly his resolution cos he too kind to know any, just what hubby n I hope that is what he will write if we ask him to:
1.To gain knowledge from Q-dees(his pre-school)
2.To grow up healthily
3.To behave
4.To eat less sweets and drink lesser coke.
Long post but still got so much to say yet I am too tired to go on. Need to wake up early cos it's my baby FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!! hee... nitez... to be continued...
