Party 5th Stop, 10 May 2009 - Damien's aka Commando Party

This is the third time I attend a birthday party in McDonald but it was first time for my 2 boys.
It was a fuss-free, cozy party as we get to talk and eat in peace while watching our babies being "trapped" in the play yard. I guess all babies feel happy rather then "trapped" as they got each other to play with. And not forgetting how little Keon tried to take advantage of Rachel by hugging her!

We adult enjoy ourselves and so do all the babies. And not forgetting a memorable cake cutting session! Damien was asleep thru out the cake cutting. Nothing can wake him up from his beauty sleep. He is indeed our little commando!

Party 4th Stop, 02 May 2009 - Rachel's Party

Rachel's party was held at NSRCC aka Safra Changi. It is a beautiful place. The chalet is very new, like new bungalow with contemporary design. I loves the place so much, I went to their counter to ask if they have any available chalet for Keon's party since we can't hold the party at Aloha but too bad, their chalet have been fully book since feb.

The theme of the party is Winnie the pooh, the place was nicely decorated by Rachel mum, Alice.

Her cake is sooooo beautiful, so nice to have a baby gal!

Keon went swimming for the first time when we were there. Thanks to Doris & Rayden, Keon got to wear Rayden swimsuit as Doris brought along an extra set. Thinking back, I still cant help laughing to myself on what had happened. Doris and I were happily putting on the swimsuit for Keon, we were so satisfied with how Keon look that we took photos for him and keep saying "so cute"! I put Keon into the water then came Choc saying that Keon wore the wrong side. lol! We didnt realised he was wearing the wrong way till Choc came along. Keon had so much fun that he falls asleep on the way back home.

Party 3rd Stop, 1 May 2009 - Raphael's Party

Raphael's party was on Labour Day. It was held at his place and the theme was Mickey Mouse!

As the weather was as usual hot, we cooped in Choc room. It was a huge room, very nice! Babies were playing at Raphael's play corner. They even got a chance to sit at Raphael's Mercedes car, lol! Keon tried it too but too bad i did not bring my camera along. As the car can be control by remote controller, they tends to falls due to car jerk. Keon some how feels unsafe so he seat on the "cock pit" of the car. Tempting to buy but sure kanna reject by my Minister of Finance so I can only think of the car.. hehe...

Party 2nd Stop, 25 April 2009 - Rayden's Party

Rayden's party was at Aloha Changi chalet. It was a huge party as many people attended. The buffet food was one of the better one I ever tried. The decoration was very nice! The weather was very hot so we people from SMH, all hide in a room with air-con on.

Beside chatting, haha... we find entertainment thru our babies. But how? lol! By letting Keon and Dylan try on nice sweet lil head band. Choc was on the mission of putting the head band whereas I was on the mission to capture the moment.

^Poor Dylan! He was crying for help, he just hated to be dress like a gal. I think in his mind he was thinking "I'm a man ok!"

Party 1st Stop, 04 April 2009 - Megan's Party

Megan's party was the start of all the parties we attended. It was held at the poolside of her place, D'Marine. Theme of the party was Minnie Mouse. It was a cozy party, I was chatting and enjoying the breeze with Keon while Kiern enjoyed himself around the poolside.

The food was great and I loves the muffins! Yummy!

Mum the Greatest!

Happy Birthday to me! 25 years ago, on 2nd June, I was born.

Sounds old?

Nothing significant for this birthday, just home with my loves.

Why do we celebrate birthday when it is a day where our mother was in such a pain years ago?

Shouldn't it be a day to honour mother instead?

So instead of saying happy birthday to me, I think I should say THANK YOU to my mum for going thru such a painful process to give birth to me, to give me a life, to raise me up and of course to give me all the loves she has.

I will be rejecting the gift she wants to give me instead I think I will give her a gift for all she had done for me.

Missing Ah Yin

Yesterday I went to a wake of someone that I respect dearly. I called her ah yin, just like how her own grandchildren called her. She's my cousin mother-in-law, we are not related yet she plays an important role in my early stage of life, she treated me like her own grandchildren. She took care of me for 3 years...

I was staying at my cousin house when I was 4 to 6 years old because my parents were working, they do not have the time to take care of me so I was sent to stay in my cousin house during the weekdays and I will only get to see my parents during the weekend.

Though memories of her is now very vague but she is someone that I will think of at times. Even though we dun get to see each other much after I started primary school but she will always hold a special place in my heart. I was excited to see her during CNY. Last year CNY was the last time I saw her. She was happy that I was pregnant and asked the gender of my baby. I told her its boy again then she said that I looked so pretty should be girl and she keep saying should be girl so I said ya I also hope the doc made a mistake.

This year CNY I was looking forward to see her too, I want her to see my baby Keon, I waited for a couple of hours at our CNY meeting point this year but in the end I left before she comes. I had told hubby before I always feel very thankful towards my cousin Jenny, ah yin and their family, they gave me a happy childhood.

Even though ah yin had passed on, I will still remember her as a great lady filled with love and someone I respected and regretted not caring much....
