The flu bug found me again. So sick... Due to flu, i lost some weight which is bad news for mummy. At this stage of my pregnancy, i suppose to gain weight and not lose. Baby weight gain was not significant too according to my gynae, he said maybe due to my flu. I am worried that baby will be too small. I do hope when baby pop, he is about 3kg. Too bad i dun eat durian which is believe that it will fatten the baby. So i just have to increase my milk intake.
Too tired and too sick to write anymore... just hope baby will gain more weight and me to recover fast...

Its now a counting down game liao. Counting down to the pop day. 7 more weeks to my edd and 3 more weeks to the baby will pop on anyday. Haven start packing my hospital bag yet. Only wrote down a list of things that are to put in my hospital bag. Still double checking anymore things that i have left out. Need to prepare all the baby stuffs at home. Confinement stuffs, my mother-in-law said she help me settle. Haiz, a lot of things need to be done yet i do not have the strength to do. Baby cot still left disassemble at a corner of my living room... need to bug laoye to assemble it. Yesterday, parents in law are into the "guess the labour day date" game, mil guess 24-04. Haha.. we shall see... they also start to talk about baby name. Youngster bro-in-law said baby should be named "Qi Yu". So orbit can.. mil said he said that becos Kiern chinese name is "Qi Yan" so the two brothers will be "Yu Yan" which mean language in mandarin -_-"
This month got 2 old folks birthday. One is my papa and the other is my mil. haha, think hubby broke after treating 2 of them. For my dad birthday celebration, we went to Vivo city and it cost laoye abt $200 anyway condemn the place liao, the food sucks and the carpark sucks too especially when we were going home, all the cars are long having this long queue just to get out of that place. For my mil, we went to Long Beach Seafood Restaurant @ IMM, that meal cost a whopping $500, hehe.. thanks to that i finally had the lobster that i have been craving since first trimester. Too bad no photo for both cos too busy eating :P

This month got 2 old folks birthday. One is my papa and the other is my mil. haha, think hubby broke after treating 2 of them. For my dad birthday celebration, we went to Vivo city and it cost laoye abt $200 anyway condemn the place liao, the food sucks and the carpark sucks too especially when we were going home, all the cars are long having this long queue just to get out of that place. Now that I am in week 30, which mean 10 more weeks to my EDD and 6 more weeks to anytime baby will pop week. Previous check up, baby weight is 1.3kg @ week 29. Next check up will be on 17/03. As i am now in my 8th month, now check up is every 2 weeks instead of the usual 4 weeks. Once i hit 9th month then it be one week once.
There is baby fair at Takashimaya right now till 23-03. Went there on its first day(06-03), bought two big bags of items, lucky they offer free home delivery for purchase $100 and above. While shopping, i still worried on how i going to carry the stuffs back as i need to pick Kiern up from school. Thanks to the huggies promotor who informed me about the home delivery as there is no notification on free home delivery with purchase above $100 around the baby fair. I think i will go back again as i just realised some items i need 2 quantity as baby will be at my in law place when i start work so need to put baby items at their place too. Have discuss with my in law regarding baby, laoye and i will pay for a maid to stay at in law house to help do house work while they take care of baby or the maid will help look after baby while they are busy.
Will try to upload baby #2 ultra scan pics. Wanna to upload long ago but keep forgetting about it. Hopes i remember the next time i blog =)

Am I 29 weeks pregnant or 30 weeks? I am confused at this stage and getting more tired, forgetful and less alert (no worries, I have stop driving for the time being, see I am a responsible driver). Anyway my next visit to the gynae is this coming monday and I am anxious to know what is my baby weight, haha..
Been busy shoppin for baby #2 stuffs and those Kiern hand down clothes. No space for me to put baby clothes, baby clothes are every where in the house now. Later will be going to Toyogo warehouse to buy plastic drawer to put baby clothes. haha, to think of baby #2 will use all hand me down clothes and bedding set make me a bad mother, like mistreating him so i bought a few new clothes and still thinking if i want to buy one new bedding set.
Will be going for my maternity studio shoot next month (proudly sponsor by Laoye as Valentine's gift), probably in 3 weeks time, hopfully stretchmarks wont be showing on my tummy within this 3 weeks. I am lucky that my stretchmarks only appears near my bum area. haha.. will be bringing Kiern and laoye along to take pics with my bulging tummy.
Kiern is now a very good korkor. haha.. we went amk hub after our dinner at Jackplace then we went in to Mums & Babes, a shop where they sell stuffs for mother to be and baby. Kiern saw this "train", actually its a bus those long bus and he thought is train. Then he ran to me while i looking at other stuffs.
"Mummy I want to buy train for didi"
I asked him "which train?" "come i show you". He pulled me to the shelf and show me. I said asked his papa first. So he went around the shop shouting for his dad. Laoye had sneaked to the game shop next door, haha. Anyway when laoye came back, Kiern pushed the bus on to laoya hands and said he want to buy for didi.
We keep asking him if he has the money. "yes i have" then he will pretend digging money from his pocket and open his empty fist, "here the money". Laoye keep saying no and asked Kiern to ask didi want a not? Kiern put his mouth near my tummy to ask and straight away he said loudly "didi said he want!" then Kiern gave his best smile and said " i want to buy for didi ok? ok!" then straight away he put the bus on the cashier counter. Smiling back to us, so no choice, we pay for it and Kiern proudly said "I buy train for didi."
But i think he using didi to buy something he want, haha.. cos before stepping to amk hub, we told him, he cannot buy anymore trains as he have a lot and laoye actually order 1 special model from Thomas and friends collection from US which is making its way here. Kiern knows all the model of Thomas and friends, all their name although some look the same to you but he know the differences!

Finally graduated from NYP... Now is a long vacation for me till my prince #2 pop out but is it really vacation for me? I felt more busy now as compare to the time in school and attachment. I had my full hands on Kiern these few days, yesterday alone was a killer, morning brought him to see doc then walk all the way to ntuc, do bought some groceries then proceed to his school after which walk back home, do housework then fetch Kiern then entertain him for 2 hours as he need to attend his mandarin class if dun entertain him, he will fall asleep and will not wake up for his class. Time for his mandarin class then again WALK to his school then walk back home asked lao ye to wake up prepare and less than half and hour WALK to Kiern school again. Lucky we decided to stay over at my in laws place yesterday so my in laws came to fetch us fom Kiern school. All that walking under a crazy hot day gave me a bad headache during the night.

These days, your baby's kicking (or lack of) is keeping you up at night and worried during the day, your feet are swollen, you're getting tired all over again, and your backache is a pain that just won't quit. And even though he or she hasn't started crying yet, it may seem that your baby's getting on your nerves already — literally. As your baby gets settled into a proper (you hope) position for birth, his or her head (and your enlarging uterus) may rest on the sciatic nerve in the lower part of your spine. And if that happens, you may feel sharp, shooting pain, tingling, or numbness that starts in your buttocks and radiates down the back of your legs — otherwise known as sciatica. The pain of sciatica can be quite intense at times, and though it may pass if your baby shifts positions, it can also linger until you've delivered.
A heating pad, a warm tub, stretches, or just some self-imposed bed rest can help with the discomfort. So can some complementary and alternative therapies.

On my second last day of IPP, went out with my oic and fellow colleagues for lunch at Pizza Hut, too bad no photos were taken. On my last day of IPP, went out with some fellow classmates for dinner at Sakura buffet @ Orchard, had fun and lotsa of catching but when it is time to say good bye, Harmon and Ah Bao made the whole good bye thing kinda sad.

Finally can update my blog le... If only i can update my blog in office then i will update more often.
3 more weeks to end of IPP and I cant wait for it to end... haha.. Thinking of what I can do while waiting for baby no.2 to pop. Initiate plan was to take up Spanish lesson with ah bao but ah bao said that the whole course will be 2.5 months so end up that plan was ruined as the lesson will start in March and end in May, which mean there will be a risk whereby I will lose my money as I will pop anytime from mid april to may. From mid Feb to June, this few months what to do?... Beside going to library, take care of kiern, what else can I do? Thinking of learning something new but what can be learned in a short span of the most 2 months? After confinement then will be busy looking for job, have been looking at classified everyday, saw a few jobs and got the urge to send my resume but then my pregnancy... only can wait...
Have been busy with cny shopping. Went around to taste new year goodies. Still need to buy a few more stuffs and of cos, SPRING CLEAN! With my current condition, i cannot do much household chores in one shot, so i have plan out my spring cleaning to be done in 2 weeks.
Went for full face threading today. Aiyo, it was so painful lor. But the feeling on the face is like smoother than before and my eyebrow is so neat, better and nicer as compare to trimming eyebrow at a cosmetic counter. For the sake of beauty, i guess the pain have to comes with it.
All my items from sprees have been collected, lucky it came before CNY cos my bro-in-law wanna wear those clothes on CNY. Just collected my unborn baby stuffs, the clothes are just so cuuuuuuuuute! Now only left bulk purchase stuffs and 2 other baby stuffs which i purchase from another mummy. Purchase beauty stuffs that are recommended by "Nu Ren Wo Zui Da" programmes and Anna Sui umbrellas--> very girly and nice! I think i will not join any sprees from the time being.

I sent an email to Banquet regarding the mould bread that I ate and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with them. They never even send a reply to say "We are sorry for what happened and will improve in our quality on our food". Professionally, they should at least reply a sorry but sadly they don. Going to CONDEMN BANQUET!!!!

(Cannot really catch what he said, he was like giving me a talk o how to prevent scalding and how to cook with safety)

Went for my detail scan and he was playing with a little girl at a play corner. Then suddenly heard some commotions. He snatched a toy from the little girl. When i scold him for what he do then he said: "the meimei put the toy in the mouth, the toy is very dirty." When I heard what he said, i realised he is trying to take the toy out from the girl mouth but he did it in a wrong way, so in a way or two, I was wrong to scold him without asking him what really happened.

When we take taxi, Kiern always like to take money from us and pay to the taxi driver, so on one fine day, the fare was like $10.20 but he was holding on $10 only. So I was trying to dig for 20 cents and asking hubby if he have then the taxi driver said its ok, $10 is enough. Kiern hand the $10 to the taxi driver while hubby and I get out of the taxi. Kiern was still in the taxi. I waited for a while and asked him to hurry up and asked him why is he not coming out. Then he looked at the taxi driver and he said: "Uncle, no change?" I was like laughing at him and told him that he still owe uncle 20cents so how can ask for change.

Drove to Khatib there and wanna buy dinner. Hubby got down to buy dinner while I tried to park the car along the road behind the coffeeshop. After parking, another car came and the driver tried to squeeze his car into a small space between my car and the car behind me. He is unable to park his car fully into the space but still he just left his car like this. I was pissed off because how am I able to drive out as in front of me there is also another car. I was like mumbling to myself "why this man so selfish?"
Kiern: "What happen, mummy?"
Me: "The uncle park like this mummy cannot drive out later if papa comes back before that uncle."
Kiern: "Why that uncle so silly? He so naughty. Later policeman come catch him!"

Drove to Khatib there and wanna buy dinner. Hubby got down to buy dinner while I tried to park the car along the road behind the coffeeshop. After parking, another car came and the driver tried to squeeze his car into a small space between my car and the car behind me. He is unable to park his car fully into the space but still he just left his car like this. I was pissed off because how am I able to drive out as in front of me there is also another car. I was like mumbling to myself "why this man so selfish?"
Kiern: "What happen, mummy?"
Me: "The uncle park like this mummy cannot drive out later if papa comes back before that uncle."
Kiern: "Why that uncle so silly? He so naughty. Later policeman come catch him!"

Wake up at 3 plus due to itchness around my forehead, nose bridge and my right eye. Corner of my right eye swell up a little. Tired yet the itchness is so unbearable that i cant sleep.
Had a yummy dinner, thanks to hubby fouth uncle. Went to thai restaurant to eat 9 course dinner, yum yum... and I had a glass of red wine.. oh my... the taste of red wine in my mouth was like so shiok... haha. Father-in-law took 2 cartons of red wine there. When he asked the staff to open the red wine, he asked me if i want a glass knowing that i like red wine then i said i cannot drink ah. He said red wine nvm, one glass is good for blood circulation. Mother-in-law also said red wine nvm one. I was grinning in my heart, for about 5 months, I never had a sip of red wine, since got green light liao then I drank a glass and that was like the best red wine I ever taste.. haha.. dunno if its becos long time never drink or that red wine is really nice...

~~Mouldy Bread~~
Went to Ah Mei Cafe@ Northpoint for lunch today. Mum ordered a few dishes. One of the dishes were french toast. I happily took one to eat then when mum want to eat, she realised there were mould on the bread. My sis and I checked and realised the bread is moulding. Mum was angry and she was furious that me a pregnant lady ate one liao. She with my sis went to the counter and confront the staff there. One of the lady staff offered to change a dish for us but mum was too angry to choose another dish then sis said " I think is better if you refund us". The funny thing is I keep laughing at the fact that me and only me ate the french toast. Sis said I crazy keep laughing. Then mum said the person who ate it not angry, the ppl who haven eat it angry. Anyway I dun think I be going back there to eat liao.
~~6 mois~~
Ya I going to be 6 mois pregnant le... 3 more mois and anytime I will see my little prince. This week I experience back or neck pain and sever headache. Yesterday whole night, my leg got mild cramp but other then that I am fine, I guess maybe because my tummy is getting heavier that why experiencing aching. At 6 months, always I will want to fall alseep, its always so tired, hoping everyday that IPP will be over soon. Yesterday while waiting in the car for my parent-in-laws then suddenly saw a lime juice pic at the kolo mee stall. Ask hubby, who was with me to buy. He was too lazy to buy for me though the stall is just right in front of the car. Gave him a pathetic look and told him that his baby want to drink. I keep whining till he gave up and went down to buy for me. I took a sipped and said its so shiok... he grumbled... whatever, its his responsibilities =P

Merry Xmas & Happy New Year 2008!!! haha.... I know its a little to late but still better than never.
So how's everyone christmas and new year?
Here's how i spent mine:
-Xmas eve: Hubby, baby and me went to jackplace at amk cos i wanna eat steak and lobster but they only have xmas menu which turn me off so we met up wif my family and went to fish & co@ amk hub. Long queue but we still wait cos no matter where we go, its long queue. And i am very surprised with their services.. one word.. GOOD!!! As i am waiting, one of the staff came and offer me to sit at a corner of their restaurant while my family wait for a place as i am pregnant and she said it will be tiring and she offered me a glass of warm water too. After dinner, proceed to my parents place... wait the clock strike 12 and we open present.
-Xmas day: The 3 of us went to ikea, giant and courts @ tampines.
-New year eve: House warming. Had dinner buffet and pizza at home. All guests left around 11 plus. Then hubby fell asleep on the floor of our living room. Baby and Racheal(my in law maid who came and help me, Thank you!!!) sleeping in baby room while i laid on my sofa watching channel 5 new year count down @ vivocity. 10....3,2,1... happy new year and here i am alone (though lonely but still blissful...) awake counting down myself... no.. i still have someone who is awake and that is my baby #2 :) . He was kicking in my tummy as we count down. When he kick one time, i will tap at the area a few times and he will react by kicking back again. Before i go to bed, i wrote down my resolution. This year resolution is simple and realistic as compare to last year. Here's my resolution:
Baby Kiern is behaving more and more like a small adult and i cant help laughing at it... maybe my next post shall do a write up on baby antics.
