Baby when are you ready to come out to see mummy????

Baby is still in my tummy. Have been talking to him, asking him to come out and see mummy, daddy and kor kor. Even Kiern is trying to talk to him to ask him to come out. haha.. we are getting impatient.

Have been eating lotsa "good food". Went to Swensen 3 times this week just to eat their ice cream, somemore pack 2 cone back home to eat. Even hubby commented that i ate a lot of good food recently then i replied him, "can you imagine one month of confinement food? No cold drinks, even plain water is restricted. So must eat all i can now before one month of suffering" Plus now put on weight can give excuse that i pregnant. Give birth liao then no excuses le.

Lately have been seeing a lot of parents pushing Maclaren strollers. Tempted to buy, quite ex but OG got discount, dunno which of the Maclaren model, the sales price is $189 so yesterday i put on my most innocent and girly eye expression, looked at laoye and said "if you hor got spare cash, can pay half half for the Maclaren stroller?" haha.. even though i know he got the ability to pay $189 but i still pretend pretend said half half, hehe... Then he said "half half is how much?" I told him "$189 divide by 2 then is the half lor." haha.. in the end i get more than what i asked for. He knew that initially i was eyeing on Babyplanet stroller but that stroller cost $349!!! I know some of you will think siao why stroller so expensive.. the most expensive i seen so far is $690++ but really is you get what you pay for. Anyway, laoye asked me to go buy the babyplanet stroller and he will pay for it. hehe.. but still will go see some more stroller in few more hours time before i make up my mind.

To those who are concern if i going to graduation ceremony:
It seems that i am not going to attend as my baby is still staying comfortably in my big belly as of now. Cant blame me... haha...

These few days having serious insomnia. When i felt sleepy and wanna go to sleep, serious Braxton Hicks will hit me. Moreover i am at my last trimester which means Braxton Hicks will be more frequent and pain. Dunno why it will be the most painful at around 1am+ to 2am+ for me that is why it is causing me insomnia. Imagine getting to sleep at 2am+ and to be waken up by full bladder 3 times and waken up by hungry tummy at 6am+ and to finally get back to sleep at 7am+ and best of all, to be waken up by Kiern at 9am+. After which, i be busy with him till he attend his school at 12pm. If i am lucky, i get an hour of sleep before going to his school to fetch him home at 3pm.

Tomorrow will be my wedding anniversary and my in laws are hoping baby comes out tomorrow cause it will be memorable as it is both baby birthday and my wedding anniversary(aka buy 4D also easier..haha) but i doubt baby will pop tomorrow as he seems to enjoy himself in my tummy..haha.. Anyway hospital bag done, baby bed done, baby stuffs done.. we are all ready for the arrival of baby #2 but when do he want to come out to see the world???

One thing left undecide is whether i want to stay in 2-bedded or 1-bedded ward. If 1-bedded ward then hubby can stay over with me. Initially, i thought laoye dun want to stay in hospital with me so my pre-admission letter i chose 2-bedded then when i asked him recently where he gonna stay when i in hospital for 2 nights as our son is sure to be at my in laws place(cant expect laoye to take care of Kiern cos guy will always be guy) then he replied "i stay with you la, in the hospital" I was surprised when he said that. But should i stay in 1-bedded? That be an extra about 600 bucks. 600 bucks can buy a first grade stroller. haiz, laoye said up to me, he said he only know that he pay money other then that all decisions lies on me.

Talking about money.. really hope money falls from sky man.. when baby arrive our family expenses will be rocket high. My in laws maid will be transfered to us and her paid is quite high due to her experience and she been working with in laws for the past four year. Then we have baby milk powder and diapers etc which mean extra money. Plus father-in-law will be going back to workforce next month which means the car will be driven by him, so in order for the maid or my mother in law to bring and fetch Kiern back from school, they need to take bus so we need to pay for their transport fees.. aiyo and its so troublesome for them cos they need to take 2 bus before they reach Kiern school. Hubby suggested buying a second hand car so that mother in law can use to ferry Kiern to school or bring him out when we are working. He said we shall look for a car once i worked for about 3 months. Which means more money again... car loan, petrol... Gosh... Wheres my money?!!!

This post i want to dedicate to my boy, Kiern. While preparing my hospital bag, i decided to store Kiern photos into hubby creative zen so that i can look at it and be motivated during my labour. So let have some flash back...

Sad to say baby is now 2.4kg :( hubby said i siao why want baby so big, later baby 4kg then cannot natural birth. Come to think of it, what he said is true. If baby too big then i cant push then i be sad also cos i am pro-natural birth. Now i jus hope baby will be 3kg when birth.

Today went back to nyp wif my in laws because bro-in-law wanna buy laptop. Haha.. Felt weird stepping into nyp with a big tummy. So excited... next week start, baby is ready to see the world, now have to see when baby want to see the world.

10 more hours to my next gynae appointment. Going to see baby again and I am keeping my fingers cross that he weight at least 2.5kg.

Had my maternity shoot on 5th April. Had a lot of fun and Kiern is so excited. He thought he going to the studio to see his didi. When we were walking up the stairs to the studio, he asked "Is didi upstairs?" He brought along the toy that he wanna give his didi and was telling the photographer, Maryann, that he is giving that to didi. Then when we were selecting our shots to be developed, Kiern saw that there is another level up and he asked again "is didi upstairs?" haha.. he made us laugh a lot on that day. When selecting the shots, Kiern keep saying he like those artistic shots of mine.. haha.. why said artistic.. cos i took a plunge to take semi-nude pic or was it full nude??? I was naked but for the shots, i covered my important parts with my hands and thighs. Kiern keep pointing to those pics and said "I like this one". Haha.. He was very cheeky that day. Once i got the hard and soft copy of the pics then i will post the pics but dun expect me to post my naked pic..haha.. it only for me and my hubby view. After the shoot, when we got back home, i asked Kiern to keep the toy that he wanna give didi then he show me his sad face and asked "why keep? didi dont like this?" I took sometime to explain to him that didi is still in my tummy.

For those who are concern if i will be attending graduation ceremony, the answer is I dunno. If my baby comes to the world before 20 April then maybe i will attend but if baby comes after 20 April the answer is a definite NO. So my attendance on that day is on my baby hand.

Recover from flu but cough is still here... Got freak out on saturday and sunday cos baby did not move much in my tummy, was freaking scared and worried. Then i suspect maybe is my medicine so i stop taking it on sunday night and baby became active again on monday. I guess the medicine that cause drowsiness do affect my baby too. Think he is sleeping away in my tummy on saturday and sunday.

On monday i have this sudden urge to spring clean my whole house.. dunno where my energy come from i spring clean my whole house for 2 days! The only eye sore is the baby cot which laoye haven assemble as he is busy working.

Have been drinking at least 3 glasses of milk daily, hopefully on my next gynae visit(11/04) my baby will weight at least 2.5kg. Braxton hicks is getting more frequent sometime it hurts too but so long it is not regular that means i am safe from early labour.

As the DAY getting nearer i am more excited and fear set in as i forget how labour will be like so i went to libary to borrow some books to read on labour to keep myself prepare. One more person is also very interested in reading those books that i borrow, that is -->Kiern! Haha! Those books got a lot of baby pictures so he was like "i want to see baby" "Mummy, baby come out from your stomach?" haha... he is so cute.. he is getting the idea that he is going to see his didi soon so he feel excited when he see those baby pictures even to the extend of snatching the book from me. Only one book is without picture then he asked me why no baby pictures?

Can't wait to see my baby #2... ...

The flu bug found me again. So sick... Due to flu, i lost some weight which is bad news for mummy. At this stage of my pregnancy, i suppose to gain weight and not lose. Baby weight gain was not significant too according to my gynae, he said maybe due to my flu. I am worried that baby will be too small. I do hope when baby pop, he is about 3kg. Too bad i dun eat durian which is believe that it will fatten the baby. So i just have to increase my milk intake.

Too tired and too sick to write anymore... just hope baby will gain more weight and me to recover fast...

Its now a counting down game liao. Counting down to the pop day. 7 more weeks to my edd and 3 more weeks to the baby will pop on anyday. Haven start packing my hospital bag yet. Only wrote down a list of things that are to put in my hospital bag. Still double checking anymore things that i have left out. Need to prepare all the baby stuffs at home. Confinement stuffs, my mother-in-law said she help me settle. Haiz, a lot of things need to be done yet i do not have the strength to do. Baby cot still left disassemble at a corner of my living room... need to bug laoye to assemble it. Yesterday, parents in law are into the "guess the labour day date" game, mil guess 24-04. Haha.. we shall see... they also start to talk about baby name. Youngster bro-in-law said baby should be named "Qi Yu". So orbit can.. mil said he said that becos Kiern chinese name is "Qi Yan" so the two brothers will be "Yu Yan" which mean language in mandarin -_-"


This month got 2 old folks birthday. One is my papa and the other is my mil. haha, think hubby broke after treating 2 of them. For my dad birthday celebration, we went to Vivo city and it cost laoye abt $200 anyway condemn the place liao, the food sucks and the carpark sucks too especially when we were going home, all the cars are long having this long queue just to get out of that place. For my mil, we went to Long Beach Seafood Restaurant @ IMM, that meal cost a whopping $500, hehe.. thanks to that i finally had the lobster that i have been craving since first trimester. Too bad no photo for both cos too busy eating :P

Had detail scan on this day which mean gynae scan every single part of baby, all his organs etc.

Now that I am in week 30, which mean 10 more weeks to my EDD and 6 more weeks to anytime baby will pop week. Previous check up, baby weight is 1.3kg @ week 29. Next check up will be on 17/03. As i am now in my 8th month, now check up is every 2 weeks instead of the usual 4 weeks. Once i hit 9th month then it be one week once.

There is baby fair at Takashimaya right now till 23-03. Went there on its first day(06-03), bought two big bags of items, lucky they offer free home delivery for purchase $100 and above. While shopping, i still worried on how i going to carry the stuffs back as i need to pick Kiern up from school. Thanks to the huggies promotor who informed me about the home delivery as there is no notification on free home delivery with purchase above $100 around the baby fair. I think i will go back again as i just realised some items i need 2 quantity as baby will be at my in law place when i start work so need to put baby items at their place too. Have discuss with my in law regarding baby, laoye and i will pay for a maid to stay at in law house to help do house work while they take care of baby or the maid will help look after baby while they are busy.

Will try to upload baby #2 ultra scan pics. Wanna to upload long ago but keep forgetting about it. Hopes i remember the next time i blog =)

Am I 29 weeks pregnant or 30 weeks? I am confused at this stage and getting more tired, forgetful and less alert (no worries, I have stop driving for the time being, see I am a responsible driver). Anyway my next visit to the gynae is this coming monday and I am anxious to know what is my baby weight, haha..

Been busy shoppin for baby #2 stuffs and those Kiern hand down clothes. No space for me to put baby clothes, baby clothes are every where in the house now. Later will be going to Toyogo warehouse to buy plastic drawer to put baby clothes. haha, to think of baby #2 will use all hand me down clothes and bedding set make me a bad mother, like mistreating him so i bought a few new clothes and still thinking if i want to buy one new bedding set.

Will be going for my maternity studio shoot next month (proudly sponsor by Laoye as Valentine's gift), probably in 3 weeks time, hopfully stretchmarks wont be showing on my tummy within this 3 weeks. I am lucky that my stretchmarks only appears near my bum area. haha.. will be bringing Kiern and laoye along to take pics with my bulging tummy.

Kiern is now a very good korkor. haha.. we went amk hub after our dinner at Jackplace then we went in to Mums & Babes, a shop where they sell stuffs for mother to be and baby. Kiern saw this "train", actually its a bus those long bus and he thought is train. Then he ran to me while i looking at other stuffs.
"Mummy I want to buy train for didi"
I asked him "which train?" "come i show you". He pulled me to the shelf and show me. I said asked his papa first. So he went around the shop shouting for his dad. Laoye had sneaked to the game shop next door, haha. Anyway when laoye came back, Kiern pushed the bus on to laoya hands and said he want to buy for didi.
We keep asking him if he has the money. "yes i have" then he will pretend digging money from his pocket and open his empty fist, "here the money". Laoye keep saying no and asked Kiern to ask didi want a not? Kiern put his mouth near my tummy to ask and straight away he said loudly "didi said he want!" then Kiern gave his best smile and said " i want to buy for didi ok? ok!" then straight away he put the bus on the cashier counter. Smiling back to us, so no choice, we pay for it and Kiern proudly said "I buy train for didi."
But i think he using didi to buy something he want, haha.. cos before stepping to amk hub, we told him, he cannot buy anymore trains as he have a lot and laoye actually order 1 special model from Thomas and friends collection from US which is making its way here. Kiern knows all the model of Thomas and friends, all their name although some look the same to you but he know the differences!
