Sick... super sick now... flu bug...

Recently do not have the mood to blog... maybe is jus plain lazy.

Yesterday, went to the graduate briefing. They were talking about what we plan to do after we graduate. Seriously, i want to get a degree but maybe will work for a year first. There is 3 fields that I am considering:

1. Human Resource
2. Tourism/Hotel
3. Education (go NTU then become primary school teacher)

These two days, the topic for each of us in nyp is what u planning to do? haha.. for me is easy, after i finish my attachment on Feb, I stay home and wait for my baby to pop then confinement one month. Which mean I be able to rest for 3-4 months before i start looking for job. Then after working one year, pursue a degree and try to earn big bucks after that. haha... and earning big bucks mean a lot of investment involve.

Have been interested in investment recently. Last sunday newspaper, they interview a guy regarding his investment and some how i got enlighten by him. He said there is 2 kind of debts: Good debt and bad debt. Example of good debt: Housing loan and insurance. Example of bad debt: Car loan and credit card bill. Good debt can drag as long as you want so long as you pay but bad debt is have to try to pay asap if not better still dun even try to have bad debt.

This guy is earning big bucks with his investment and the way he manage his money. He stay in a hdb flat but he have a few private properties. Best part, he do not own a car and after reading how much he save suddenly i feel a car is a waste of money in singapore. If 1 month, you save the 800 bucks for car loan and put it in a bank. You can earn minimum 1.6million bucks cos of bank interest after 40 years, imagine if you were to put it in fix deposit that will be more. By then those without car can enjoy life even if you still have a family to feed while those who have car are still slaving for their life to pay loans and their family expenses. So i am thinking for a moment, what's the point of having a car when it is jus a mode of transport and you gonna be a slave to your car till your hair turn white or bald.
