HOHOHO... How's everyone xmas? It's been so long since I last updated. Have been busy with xmas shopping, kids and spree. 2 more days to NEW YEAR aka LaoYe birthday and less than a month time it be Chinese New Year which means pocket is going empty at a super fast rate!

Updates on Keon: He had moved from eating pureen to porridge. He had tried fish, frog leg, spniach, tofu, broccoli, carrot, potato, sweet potato, apple, pear, banana, mango, papaya and avocado. He now super sticky towards me, if i just walk out of his sight, he will start to make a lot of noise. He is now trying to stand unsupported and he knows how to high five. I am trying hard to teach him "gong xi gong xi" gesture, hopfully he learns it before CNY.

Updates on Kiern: He is going to 7 hours class next year, dunno how he will adapt. Went to buy his uniform on 22-12 and we bought 2 size up from his previous set of uniform. He wore size M and now he is wearing size XL. Oh.. and when playing board game with him, he must always be the first winner! If not he be crying and say things like "I don like yiyi, i don like yiyi!" Nowadays he like to say "well i guess so", "alright alright", "i told you so" and he like to use the word "otherwise". Sometimes the things he do can make one angry yet you find it funny so its like to scold or not to scold. Last week, he threw his empty cookie pack but some crumbs dropped out and he told the maid "Auntie! You better clean this up!" As the maid is busy, she did not attend to it immediately then Kiern said "Auntie! I said you better clean this up! The floor is so dirty!"

Peranakan Musuem 05-10-2008

Some of you might not know actually i am like a quarter Peranakan?. Both my maternal and paternal grandmother are Peranakan, that why when i was young, when my grandmothers are still around, I am influence by Peranakan culture. My maternal grandmother is Teochew Peranankan while my paternal grandmother is Javanese Peranakan. For special occasion, my grandmothers, aunties and my mum will dress in Sarong Kebaya and some of my uncles will dress in Batik shirt. My mum and dad speak Malay fluently.

Visited Peranakan Museum with my family and we saw the shop there selling some of the Perananka accessories for like 400, 700 bucks which my mum and dad also have. We were shocked! We did not know that those items such as belts, shoes worth so much. I have a bead shoe custom made when i was young, have been asking my mum for it, doubt i can wear it now.
